Each day during the Fallas festival fireworks are shot off at mid day or shortly thereafter. This goes on every day of the festival and people actually leave work to go outside to whoop and holler as the fireworks go off. The sound is so loud that vendors hand out ear plugs! The night of fire is the most impressive night of the whole festival. Thousands of fireworks are shot off at the same time for a period of five to ten minutes. The sound is incredible.

Data shows that as many as 150,000 visitors came to Valencia's port every day during the first America's Cup competitions the summer of 2005.
